Memorial Day Weekend, 2008
We had a really nice Memorial Day weekend! Kevin happened to be scheduled with 3 days off, so we most definately took advantage of our family time. Saturday we did some much needed summer clothes shopping, conquering 3 malls and Target! And Kevin even found clothes too! :) On Memorial Day itself, we met up with some friends at their family's boat. We hung out and snacked on the boat, and then walked around Seaport Village. We all had lunch together, where Kevin decided he wanted to see what an oyster tasted like. As you can see by the pictures, he won't be doing that again! Anslie was an angel the whole day. She ate well and napped well, and was genuinly happy. I enjoyed spending time with family and friends, something that doesn't happen often enough!

Our Trip to San Francisco
Kevin and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this year by taking a weekend trip to San Francisco. We had so much fun touring the city, Alcatraz Island and Prison, The Golden Gate Bridge, and enjoying delicious Clam Chowder, Sourdough Bread, and Dungeness Crab. The weather was beautiful, except for the constant wind. (But I guess that's San Fran for you) I was truly a trip of a lifetime. I can't believe we have been married for five years already! This trip gave us a great opportunity to reflect on where our relationship has taken us over the years, through good times and bad, and really appreciate one anothers' companionship and devotion. Happy Anniversary baby!

Our New Family Blog
Hello, Everyone!
Tera has inspired me to start a family blog. She made a great point that some of you "old timers" in the family either don't have a myspace account or aren't interested in signing up for one and that having this blog would make our pictures and updates more accessible to everyone. So, here we are! Our first official family blog. I haven't decided if this will replace my monthly updates for Anslie or not; I guess you will find out when I send it out at the end of the month. More than likely, however, this will replace my myspace account, or at least my major postings on my myspace account. I hope you will all be interested and excited to become subcribers to our blog!
