Yay! We finally did it! We took Anslie to the beach for the very first time! I would like to say that she enjoyed it, but she was afraid of the sand and the water and wouldn't let Kevin nor I put her down the entire day. :( It was okay though, because we just took turns entertaining her and enjoying the sunshine.
Our good friends Brad and Gina and their 2 (1/2) kids came to visit for the week so they were great company at the beach as well. Kevin, of course, didn't put any sunscreen on and got totally fried! He also enjoyed getting burried up to his neck in sand (as well as Brad and Courtney). 
Courtney and I built an AWESOME sand castle that, believe it or not, was still standing by the time we left at the end of the day. It was the kind of beach trip we have been waiting for all year long! And we are looking forward to having many, many more. Especially me, since I LOVE building sand castles and Anslie will be a great partner for that some day! Anyone else want to join us?

Looks like you guys had a great time! I like building sand castles too, but I suck at it. I guess I just didn't inherit any creative genes! But, next time we're at the beach, I'll build one with you, and I'll try not to mess it up! Anslie is looking so cute. She's getting some pudge on her too!
