Home Sweet Home

These are some pictures of our new home. Aside from the hideous sea green paint, I actually really like it!

Thanks to this giant shade tree that keeps Anslie's room in total darkness, she's been sleeping in until 9am or later and has been taking 2 1/2+ hour naps!
The Kitchen. Soooo happy to finally have linoleum under Aslie's high chair! To the right of the dinette table is the laundry room. Love that, too!
Our large sliding glass door. Beautiful view...and I can see Anslie and Tess in the backyard playing very easily. I'm loving the hardwood floors, too. So much easier to clean up after a dog and child!
The Backyard. It's small, but much more than what we had in CA. Lots of shade back here, too, which is nice considering the temperature in the summer.
The Living room. Decorated pretty tastefully, I think. We will really enjoy the fire place this winter. There was a formal dining table in where the desk is but I had them take it out so I could have "office" space.
Other things I love about this house: 1. 2 car garage so that Kevin and I can both park our vehicles inside AND still get in and out of the car easily without banging the doors on the walls. 2. Having our mailbox right outside our front door. I don't even have to step outside the house to get the mail, just reach around the corner. 3. Being able to do laundry during the day because the washer and dryer are all the way on the other side of the house from Anslie's room. 4. Pretty much not being afraid to breathe because it might wake Anslie up. 5. Not being able to hear Kevin when I am trying to talk to him when I am in the kitchen and he is in the living room. 5. Having a yard to throw the dog and kid out into when I get sick of them 6. Having a driveway and hose hook up so that we can wash our car whenever we want to 7. Space.

You're welcome to come and visit, any time! :)

I bet you are really going to enjoy living in a house and not sharing walls with anyone else. And I really bet you are going to enjoy not hiking up 3 sets of stairs to lug groceries to your apartment!

The house looks so great! Like you, I'm not too fond of the peculiar green exterior. The interior looks great as does the backyard! Kudos!

P.S. I'm not saying that I love the color of the paint. But the whole package is wonderful. :)
